The Chipotle Warzone Challenge tournament from last night, July 16, ended in a surprising victory for the relatively unknown Call of Duty: Warzone duo team of Unrational and Stu. The duo team sawed off stiff competition from pro players and streamers like Nadeshot, Aydan, Cloakzy, TimtheTatman and more.
The $50,000 prize tournament also saw celebrity guest stars parachute into Verdansk. They included Arizona Cardinal’s running back Chase Edmonds, music producer Dillon Francis, Migos rapper Offset, and Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard, amongst others.
Not only did Unrational and Stu pick up $12,500 each for their victory, but tournament sponsor Chipotle additionally matched that prize pool and they made a donation to the National Urban League, an organization with a long history in supporting Black communities. On top of that, they received a year’s supply of burritos from the Mexican restaurant chain.

Unrational and Stu picked up a total of 228 points across four games. One point was awarded for each kill and five points for a full victory. So that’s some very impressive and consistent scoring from them.
They pipped their two nearest rival teams—Hanokai_ & PaceSetter and Repullze & Biter—by just 8 points. Both of those duos finished with 220 points. Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite pro Aydan came in fourth place with his duo partner Mutex.
In their post game interview, Unrational and Stu attributed some of their success to their chosen landing spot, one of the Warzone map’s several banks. These locations can have a high amount of money and loot in one small area, thereby allowing a team to set up a loadout and get their preferred weapons very quickly.
The duo came into the Chipotle Warzone Challenge through an online qualification tournament back in June. However, they beat out a whole load of professionals and streamers to take the top prize in the final tournament.
In fact, they ran into second place PaceSetter in their final match. They were fighting at the gas station near the superstore, according to Unrational, when “some kid busted the door down and Stu just pooped on him. And then he was just like ‘wait, that was Pacesetter,’ and I said ‘they’re on their last game.’ It was insane.”
The highest placing celebrity contestant was rapper Offset and his duo partner Royal, who finished 21st with 60 points.
