It took only two months after SMASH Esports signed the CSGO NoChance lineup for the roster and the organization to go their separate ways. The seemingly promising lineup of players including Martin “STYKO” Styk has officially split from SMASH Esports for undisclosed reasons.

ex-NoChance lineup fails to grow

The team was originally created by a number of professional CSGO players including even Adil “ScreaM” Benriltom. Since then the lineup has gone through quite a few roster adjustments. As things stand, the team consists of the following players:

  • Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend
  • Martin “STYKO” Styk
  • Pavle “Maden” Bošković
  • Mikail “Maikelele” Bill
  • Jesse “zehN” Linjala
  • (coach) Jonatan “Devilwalk” Lundberg

On paper, the lineup looks extremely strong, and the European medley is filled with both talent and experience. Unfortunately, SMASH Esports have decided that they are parting ways with the NoChance lineup for reasons that have not been mentioned in the short Twitter post.

SMASH Esports signed the lineup in early September, meaning it has only been two months since the roster found what seemed to be like a brand new home.

The tweet only mentions that SMASH has a new lineup in the works and that an announcement is coming up soon. As for the fate of the ex-NoChance lineup, we are not sure if the players will stay together or go their separate ways. Perhaps the separation hints at more than one player being linked to a a major transfer on the CSGO market. STYKO, the ex-mousesports core player, may be one of the pros ready for departure given his professional history and the fact that he competed on the highest of levels.
