With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare set to launch on Oct. 25, Activision has released a new trailer along with other information regarding the game’s features. The first-person shooter game will be available for pre-loading on PC on Oct. 22 at 11 a.m., for those who have already purchased it.

The Modern Warfare PC experience will be stellar

Call of Duty fans on PC will be especially excited for the features bundled with Modern Warfare. Players can now play the game at 4K resolution and without a cap on frame rate. Before, players would still only get 60 frames per second, even if they had a monitor with a higher refresh rate. It also lists that players will have a greater range of customization options than before. In addition, ultrawide and multiple monitors will be supported so players can adjust their aspect ratio or play on multiple monitors.

Other features include the ability to “Squad up with crossplay,” which will allow players to fight with or against those on console at launch. However, its use will be optional because PC players have an advantage with the mouse being more accurate than a joystick for aiming. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will also support 64-player Ground War matches, in addition to 2v2, 6v6, and 10v10 matches.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be available through the Blizzard Battle.net client. Everyone with PC digital orders will be able to start playing the first-person shooter on Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. EST, the same as console players in the United States. However, for console players located elsewhere, it will only be available at midnight on Oct. 25.
