Another concert looks to be on its way to the Fortnite island. Thanks to leaks from the v10.10 update files, we have concrete evidence that points to yet another music group holding a concert in Fortnite sometime soon. In these leaks, we can see a new Major Lazer skin set, as well as an interesting graphic relating to the concert.

Back in Season 7, we got our first-ever Fortnite concert when Marshmello teamed up with Epic Games. The star DJ has long been a fan of the game, winning the first Celebrity Pro-Am with Ninja. Now, it looks like fellow Fortnite fans Major Lazer will soon follow in Marshmello’s footsteps.

Major Lazer and Fortnite teaming up?

Major Lazer is an American-based electronic dance music group. Featuring three men, Major Lazer is responsible for hit songs like “Lean On” and “Cold Water,” which both have billions of views on YouTube.

The music trio has been vocal about their interest in Fortnite, as many celebrities have. It’s this interest that perhaps sparked Epic Games to inquire about a collaboration. While we don’t know when it’s happening, we know that something involving Major Lazer is going down.

On Twitter, Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey gave us some confirmation of this event. Below you can see a Major Lazer-themed skin and emote.

Though there is nothing specifically pointing to a concert, it is the most logical assumption. We’ve seen a music icon in Marshmello perform an in-game concert before. Leading up to that event, Fortnite released a skin set based around his in-real-life outfit. The same is happening with Major Lazer according to the in-game files.

There’s no hint as to when this supposed concert will happen. However, with the skin set and emote already rendered, we’d guess that we can expect an announcement or release very soon.
