The RLCS Season 7 Regionals are right around the corner. In fact, the North American regionals start today at 12:00 PM PST/8:00 PM BST over on the Rocket League Twitch channel. So to get in the mood, why not feast your eyes on the best plays of RLCS Season 7 League Play, provided by SQUAD!

RLCS Season 7 Regionals

For an in-depth breakdown about the regionals, we’ve got you covered. But if you’re new here, let us explain what the regional championship actually entails!

The RLCS consists of eight Rocket League teams per region, all of whom play each other once during League Play, which lasts five weeks. That ended last week, and the placements are now set in stone. Top 2 go straight to the world championship, while the bottom 2 must fight to retain their spot in the promotion/relegation tournament against the Top 2 of the lower division. That leaves two teams that still need to earn their spot for the world championship per region. That’s where the regionals come in.

This weekend, the top six teams of League Play will battle to call themselves the Regional Champion. We’ll see the top four of this tournament at the RLCS World Championship in June. As mentioned, the top two already qualified, so they’ll be awaiting their opponents in the semi-final. This is what the North American bracket looks like ahead of the tournament, courtesy of Liquipedia:

With a little bit of luck, all the goals you saw in the highlights will pale in comparison to what we’ll see this weekend and at the RLCS World Championship. You do not want to miss any of it! This is a season-defining weekend for some of these teams, and we can’t wait to see how it all plays out. Who’s making LAN, who’s going home empty-handed, and who gets to call themselves the European or North American Champion this time around? We’ll find out soon!
