On Friday, Gen.G opened its Creative Fortnite Map to create an immersive gaming and music experience in collaboration with hip hop icon Jay Park, producer duo GroovyRoom, rapper pH-1 and Gen.G Executive Brand Ambassador Heron Preston.

Between Sept. 10 and 20, the Creative Fortnite Map will let players experience the original song and music video that was made for Gen.G’s League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) team. The LCK will also be duking it out in the 2021 League of Leagues World Championships.

How to access the Fortnite map

To access the map, Fortnite players must use the Island Code 8673-2024-4344.

Those who have completed all of the map challenges have a chance at winning daily giveaways as well. The loot includes Amazon gift cards and Gen.G gear.

As for the map itself, it features content from the “ALL IN” music video, which was revealed back in August.

The music video consists of a dystopian desert setting to showcase the players’ experiences of facing pressures and criticisms. However, the video also highlights the “Gen.G army,” which refers to the fans who support and motivate the esports players.

The meaning behind “ALL IN”

During the making of the “ALL IN” music video, Jay Park took the time to speak with the players of Gen.G’s LCK team. He spoke with the competitors individually to gain a better understanding of where they came from, their love for gaming and what drove them to compete in esports on a global stage.

“It’s intriguing to see these young gamers train and go out to put it all on the line,” Jay Park said back in August.

He added how he’s always trying to explore new boundaries, and doing so with Gen.G through “ALL IN” was a privilege. The message he wanted to put out was that players should give it their all whether they win or lose. That way, they will have no regrets.
