PEACE will represent the League of Legends Circuit Oceania at the 2021 League of Legends World Championship after defeating Pentanet.GG in the playoffs grand finals. PEACE swept their opposition 3-0 and are the fourth team to represent the region at Worlds in as many years. The team placed fifth in the Split 2 regular season, taking the last playoffs spot with a solid three-win lead over sixth place team Gravitas.

PEACE had to play four different series to qualify for Worlds, defeating Chiefs Esports Club, ORDER and Dire Wolves before having the chance to play No. 1 seed Pentanet.GG. In their sweep of the Oceania 2021 Mid-Season Invitational representatives, PEACE support Ryan “Aladoric” Gregory Richardson won series MVP. This marks his second series MVP of the playoffs, earning the other award in the team’s 3-0 sweep against Chiefs.
Who plays for PEACE?
PEACE has had a rough split in terms of roster moves. The organization played without some of their main roster for parts of the regular season but managed to get together in time to make the playoffs. The core roster has some familiar faces including Leo “Babip” Romer, veteran jungler of the Oceania region and former TSM Academy player this past spring. There’s also mid laner James “Tally” Shute, another veteran player who had a stint with Golden Guardians Academy, and the aforementioned support Aladoric, as well as bot laner Vincent “Violet” Wong and top laner Yao “Apii” Jian-Jing.
This is also the organization’s first season in the LCO. They finished Split 1 in third place, with a similar record to Split 2, and placing second in the playoffs. The team lost to Pentanet.GG 3-1 and missed out on international play in the spring.
Tally and Babip have been to Worlds before — both in 2020 on Legacy Esports — and Babip went to the 2019 edition with MAMMOTH.
