One of the main storylines in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 has been figuring out what the IO is planning. They’re one of the main villain corporations in Fortnite and employ guards at satellite stations. What they’re doing there is unclear but in Week 8, players will have a chance to find out. A Legendary Quest in Week 8 requires players to interact with an IO Operative’s computer.

What’s on the computer will have to wait until Epic Games reveals more of the story towards the end of Season 7. However, for now, players can just focus on securing the XP associated with this challenge. There’s 30,000 of it up for grabs and that can go a long way on the Season 7 Battle Pass. How to complete the challenge can be seen below.

This challenge is easy to complete in practice, as all players need to do is find a computer. Once they do, they’ll be prompted to interact with it and 30,000 XP will be waiting for them on their Battle Pass. The tough part of the Legendary Quest is actually finding where to interact with an IO Operative’s computer.

Players can find one of these computers at any satellite station on the Fortnite Season 7 map. There are six of them spread across the island, so players can pick which one they want to visit.

Once at a satellite station, players can find the specific computer they need to interact with. Before that happens, though, they might need to take out a few IO Guards. If the players have done that, they can head inside the station and find a laptop on top of a storage box. The computer is a bit dated, so players should be able to spot it easily. If the computer can’t be found, players can simply look around and wait for an interact button to come up on-screen.

After the players have interacted with the IO Operative’s computer, the challenge is complete. The XP is then added to the player’s Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass.
