MAD Lions has teamed up with Warner Music Spain to improve the fan experiences across esports, music and video games.

According to the press release, Warner Music Spain is an industry pioneer when it comes to the intersection of esports and gaming.

Going beyond esports

The partnership is also a logical step in terms of brand strategy, MAD Lions Co-owner Vegetta777 noted in the press release. An added emphasis on lifestyle is part of the esports organization’s vision.

“This partnership will allow us to create special content and fan experiences that go well beyond gaming competition, expanding and reinforcing the unique MAD Lions brand,” he said.

“For creators, being able to use top-level music in our content is essential for optimal quality, engagement and monetization,” Willyrex, another Co-owner of the esports organization said. “When we entered MAD Lions, we did it with the aim of always going one step further, and today [we] continue that objective, with the help of a partner like Warner Music Spain.”

Intersection of music and gaming

Teaming up with the organization means entering the esports and gaming world for Warner Music Spain. Sergio Méndez, the company’s Head of Artist Services and Institutional Relations, said that music adds value for players, artists and fans of both worlds.
