Atlanta based organization Ghost Gaming announced Tuesday that they are adding Danny “huynh” Huynh to their VALORANT roster.

“Welcome @HUYNH_CS to Ghost Gaming! HUYNH will be competing alongside the #GhostVALORANT roster as our fifth,” Ghost Gaming tweeted.

Huynh is a long-time North American Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) player. He played on teams such as District 7, LiViD Gaming and Vision Gaming. Under the LiViD gaming banner he took Canadian LANs, such as WESG 2019 North America and DreamHack Canadian Championship. LiViD took second in both tournaments.

He retired from CS:GO in May 2020 to pursue a career in VALORANT. Ever since his transition, he has been on a steady stream of tournament wins with his first VALORANT organization, Gen. G. Their most significant achievement was taking the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers invitational the same month he joined. The team made it all the way to the VCT: 2021 North America Stage 1 Masters. They ultimately dropped to third place thanks to FaZe Clan.

Huynh Joins Ghost Gaming

Prior to Huynh joining, Ghost Gaming participated in the Stage 3 Challengers 1 Open Qualifier, they were able to make it through the round of 64 but eventually fell to T1 in the round of 32 in a 2-1 loss. He has already been playing with Ghost Gaming on a trial basis, but has now officially joined the team. The squad have already been playing with Huynh for the course of the Nerd Street Gamers Summer Championship Open 11. They face Team Fenrir in the Quarterfinals on the Nerd Street Gamers stream at 5 PM EST.

The final roster for Ghost Gaming will be:

  • Ryan “ryann” Welsh
  • Danny “huynh” Huynh
  • Gianfranco “koalanoob” Potestio
  • Dajon “chase” Lopez
  • Marc-Andre “NiSMO” Tayar
  • Adam “kaplan” Kaplan (Coach)
