For one of the Legendary Quests in Week 5 of Fortnite’s Chapter 2 – Season 7, Epic Games is making players complete two different tasks. This isn’t uncommon for the developers but it’s one of the first two-part challenges in Season 7. The first task is to get infected by an Alien Parasite, which is somewhat challenging by itself. Players must then talk to Sunny, who isn’t clearly outlined on the map.

While in practice this Legendary Quest isn’t too difficult, if players don’t know where Sunny or the Alien Parasites are, they could have some trouble. Luckily, data-miners have discovered how to complete this challenge with ease prior to the Week 5 set releasing on Thursday, July 8.

Getting infected by an Alien Parasite in Fortnite

The Alien Parasites are a new addition in Season 7 and provide players with a gravity boost in exchange for some health. To find one, players need to make their way to any location with wildlife. Near Pleasant Park is a great spot to find some wildlife but any POI will do. The parasites will be attached to a host animal, which the players need to kill. However, it’s important that players don’t shoot the parasite in the process.

Once the host animal is dead, approach the parasite and it will attach to the player’s head. Now you need to find Sunny.

The final part of this Week 5 challenge is to talk to Sunny while still carrying the parasite. The NPC is located at Believer Beach, strolling the coast to the north of the POI. All players need to do is find her, interact with her and she will complete the challenge. Once done, players will be awarded 30,000 XP toward their Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass.

After the challenge is complete, players can jump into water to get the parasite off their head.
