The ISO Hemlock has remained one of the better assault rifles in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 since its initial release in Season 2. While the gun has seen some nerfs over the course of its life cycle, you can still use it to great effect in Season 6. However, to unlock the true potential of the ISO Hemlock, you need to use its best overall loadout in MW2.

It has terrific damage, virtually no recoil when equipped with the right attachments, and great mobility and fire rate. There are virtually no weaknesses with the ISO Hemlock when it has the right loadout, putting it firmly in the multiplayer meta.

To see the full loadout for the ISO Hemlock in MW2, keep reading below.

Best ISO Hemlock Loadout in MW2

  • Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro/Slimline Pro
  • Stock: RES-2
  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip

This loadout does a little bit of everything for the ISO Hemlock. You see a recoil control increase with the Komodo Heavy and Sakin ZX Grip while mobility is boosted using the FSS OLE-V Laser. The RES-2stock also provides a nice additional mobility buff while the Cronen Mini Pro is a basic optic for the ISO Hemlock that you will want to use, as the base iron sights aren’t great. You can use any basic red dot with the gun if the Cronen Mini Pro isn’t to your taste, though.

Best ISO Hemlock Class Setup

Finally, I have the best overall class setup for the ISO Hemlock, which includes its perks, equipment, and Field Upgrade.

Perks

  • Base Perk 1: Bomb Squad
  • Base Perk 2: Double Time
  • Bonus Perk: Focus
  • Ultimate Perk: Ghost

Equipment

  • Lethal: Semtex Grenade
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade

Field Upgrade

  • Dead Silence

The ISO Hemlock is a strong assault rifle when its entire loadout is put together, and it’s one of the better AR choices in MW2.

As a final note, you can use the ISO Hemlock in the new Modern Warfare 3 and use this same loadout to great effect. However, you will need to change most of the rest of the class, as the perks have been entirely changed in the new multiplayer title. You can still use the same lethal or tactical as well as a similar secondary weapon. Of course, I suggest using some of the new content first so you can experience some of the fresh items in MW3.
