The Convictus Dota 2 Pro Series in Australia features Mineski.

The South East Asian team Mineski joins the Aussies this December. The inaugural Dota 2 Pro Series will be launched in Melbourne. The series is set to be an exciting showcase of top Dota 2 talent. Mineski is the first international invite. An additional international team will join them. The series runs across a number of countries. The Chinese teams DeathBringer Gaming and Newbee.MGB have already qualified. They, alongside South East Asian teams Alpha Red and PG.Barracx, are the confirmed lineup so far.

Australian-raised Mineski player

Whilst Mineski is a South East Asian team, it features some Aussie blood. Damien “kpii” Chok features in the current Mineski roster. He left Australia in 2015 to join MVP Phoenix in South Korea. He became known as one of the best offlaners in the world! Last year, his team was runner-up at TI. Melbourne fans are excited to see their home-grown player return to his turf. Kpii will play alongside fellow teammates at ESL One Hamburg before making the trip to Melbourne. Mineski are looking for some nice wins after their rough start to the season. They did however make it through to the International 2018.
