For the first time in the three three years since his debut in Fortnite LTM, Thanos is returning to the game. Players can get his skin for a limited time during the Fortnite Thanos Cup.

How to unlock the Thanos skin

On June 26 starting 8 p.m. ET, players can visit the Fortnite Item Shop and unlock the skin.

Once unlocked, players can compete against others as the Mad Titan and equip the Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling. Inspired by Avengers: Endgame, the item is also complete with all six of the Infinity Stones.

Fortnite Thanos Cup

Fortnite players can also get the Thanos skin before June 26 by duking it out in the newly announced Thanos Cup. Players must be level 30 and have two-factor authentication enabled on their Epic accounts to participate in this event.

On June 21, Duos teams will take on the Thanos Cup. Together, they have to battle in up to 10 total matches in three hours.

The teams with the most points will get the Thanos skin and Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling. Players who earn eight points in total will get the Thanos Watches! Spray.

As of now, Epic Games has not mentioned the start time for the Thanos Cup.

How the matches work

According to the rules, the Thanos Cup will last for about three hours on June 21. A maximum of 10 matches can be fought during the event. Victory Royale wins will count for 42 Points.

At the conclusion of the event, the teams that earned the most points according to the in-game leaderboard will be awarded with their prizes.

It should be noted that it can take several days before all the players receive their prizes.
