Editor’s note 06/19/21: Corrected an error regarding the purchase of the Battlepass.

VALORANT Episode 3 Act 1 Battlepass features new weapon skins, gun buddies, cards, sprays and titles.

Episode 3 Act 1 releases Tuesday, June 22 with a new Battlepass, agent and weapon skin bundle for charity. Players will be able to unlock tiers of the Battlepass by simply playing the game and earn goodies along the way. The Battlepass will be up for purchase when Act 1 releases for 1,000 VALORANT Points. If players do not want to pay the 1,000 VP, they can stick to the free tiers that unlock with progress.

To complete the Battlepass, players need to complete weekly challenges that award a set amount of experience. As the weeks progress, the number of experience players gain will grow alongside the Battlepass. Miss a week of challenges? No problem. Players will be able to complete challenges at their own pace and will never miss out on challenges from week to week. If you wanted to, you could complete all the challenges for the Act a week before the season ended. That would be a lot of cramming VALORANT!

VALORANT Battlepass introduces new leveling mechanics

Episode 3 Act 1 will introduce a ‘Squad Boost’ system for the Battlepass. The Squad Boost will give players and their friend’s bonus experience for each game played. This boost will last throughout the entire Year One Event celebrating VALORANT’s first birthday. The Year One Event lasts from June 22 to July 6.

Depending on the size of your party, the boost percentage for experience will increase.

  • Party of 1: 0% Bonus XP
  • Party of 2: 8% Bonus XP
  • Party of 3: 12% Bonus XP
  • Party of 4: 16% Bonus XP
  • Party of 5: 20% Bonus XP

VALORANT Give Back Bundle

VALORANT will also be releasing their Give Back Bundle which consists of four weapon skins from three previous bundles. These will hit shops the same night the Episode 3 Act 1 drops whenever the shop resets for players. All the proceeds from the Give Back Bundle will go to Riot Games’ Social Impact Fund.
