Support Choi “Mia” Sang-in is expected to play for TSM in the League of Legends Championship Series next split, sources tell Upcomer.
TSM are also expected to make a mid lane change, sources told Upcomer. With these roster shuffles, they will attempt to bounce back from a forgettable spring.
The historic and titled North American organization TSM had a disappointing spring split as they finished ninth place in the LCS. South Korean player Mia will replace support Wei “Shenyi” Zi-Jie in the starting lineup.
Mia started his career in 2017 in Japan with SCARZ. However, he quickly came back to South Korea where he filled a substitute spot for several teams such as KT Rolster and APK Prince.
In 2021, the 23-year-old finally got significant playtime as he traveled abroad to play for Estral Esports in Latin America. In the closing split of 2021, Mia’s squad finished second in playoffs, losing 3-2 against Infinity Esports.
Mia remained with the team for the first half of the 2022 season. Estral and Mia managed once again to reach LLA finals, but the result was no different. Mia and his team fell 3-2 against Team Aze, barely missing out on the Mid-Season Invitational.
Estral Esports have not yet found a new support, sources told Upcomer.
