Team Oplon are the first team from the La Ligue Française de League Of Legends to make roster changes during the 2022 spring split. The team has signed bot laner Fares “Xicor” Saidana Thursday, sources told Upcomer.

Xicor comes from Tunisia and is 19 years old. He will be the first player coming from the Middle East and North Africa region that will play in the LFL.

So far this year, Xicor was playing for Gamers & Geeks, a Tunisian team. But last year he competed in the United Kingdom scene with LDN UTD where he won the Winter Showdown UK 2021 Playoffs. He also played with Rich Gang in the Telialigaen 2021 Autumn Playoffs alongside mid laner Marius “Veigar v2” Aune, who also happens to be a coach for Cloud9 in the League Championship Series.

Before this signing, Team Oplon held tryouts with Xicor. He is going to replace Alan “Tiger” Roger who was already aware of this change while playing in the LFL this week.

This change comes after a very difficult start of the split for Team Oplon as they still have yet to win a game and hold a 0-10 record.

Additionally the new signing was updated already in the Riot Global Contract Database.

If things go as planned, Team Oplon should start the following roster next week:

  • Aymeric “Darlik” Garçon
  • Bruno “Bruness” Freund
  • Pengcheng “Peng” Shen
  • Fares “Xicor” Saidana
  • Batuhan “Absolute” Okta
