The Welgun is the newest weapon available to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 1. It comes to the game by way of the mid-season update, which introduced a plethora of changes to both Warzone and Vanguard. The Welgun is a part of the small content drop that arrived with the update. Players can unlock it by completing an in-game challenge or buying a store bundle. Then, they can work toward equipping the Welgun’s best loadout in Warzone Pacific.

As players have been unlocking the Welgun in Warzone Pacific, they’ve noticed how fast it can kill. It has a reliable time-to-kill thanks to its fast rate of fire and selection of attachments. However, players will need to increase its recoil control and mobility if they want to compete with other SMGs in Warzone Pacific.

Best Welgun loadout in Warzone Pacific

The Welgun’s best Warzone Pacific loadout closely matches its best Vanguard loadout but there are some subtle changes players should make. This mainly lies with ensuring the Welgun has a higher recoil control, as Caldera presents more opportunities for longer-range engagements than any Vanguard map.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: 120mm Gawain Short
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Gawain Skeletal
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: .45 58 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk 1: Frenzy
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

The Recoil Booster and 120mm Gawain Short barrel start out the loadout, both improving overall fire rate. This is followed up by the Gawain Skeletal stock and M1941 Hand Stop. The former increases sprint-to-fire time while the latter boosts recoil control. Polymer Grip also improves recoil control and flinch resistance as well.

For a magazine, the .45 58 Round Mags are the only choice. This mag increases damage, bullet velocity and bullet penetration. Lengthened also boosts bullet velocity to give the Welgun the best chance to land shots quickly.
