Another week, another Call of Duty League Home Series. The latest installment sees the Florida Mutineers virtually hosting the event that takes place from June 3-6. This is the second to last home series before the Stage 4 Major, which will be the first return to LAN after nearly 15 months.
The Florida Mutineers Home Series has some great matches on the docket. Rivalries will be renewed and newly-formed rosters will be put to the test yet again in Stage 4. However, there are three matches that should provide some fabulous entertainment.
1. Florida Mutineers vs. New York Subliners
The home team kicks off the first must-see match. Florida takes on the New York Subliners; the runner-up at the Stage 3 Major. New York and Florida have both been playing some fantastic Call of Duty throughout the past few weeks. The Subliners won their only match against the LA Guerrillas at the Chicago Home Series while the Mutineers surprisingly went 2-0.

While Florida was able to take down the Toronto Ultra last week, they’ll face an even stronger test against New York. This match will be a huge determination of whether the Mutineers are a threat in Stage 4.
2. LA Thieves vs. Atlanta FaZe
A classic rivalry in the CDL, LA takes on the defending champion Atlanta FaZe. While Atlanta is heavily favored to win the match, LA has the ability to win any series they play.
Even with their recent roster turnover, the Thieves played well at the Chicago Home Series and defeated the Seattle Surge. However, FaZe looks like they’re in a league ahead of every other team in the CDL. LA will need to pull out all of the stops to slay the giant that is Atlanta. This could make for an entertaining match but FaZe could very well turn it into a blowout.
3. Dallas Empire vs. New York Subliners
James “Clayster” Eubanks once again gets the chance to square off against his former team, the Dallas Empire. These two squads have made for some of the best series in 2021 and there’s no reason to believe their match at the Florida Home Series will turn out any different.
New York looks like the stronger roster in Stage 4, with Clayster and the young guns only improving with time. However, Dallas has had some additional practice time with its new addition, Reece “Vivid” Drost. This extra time might be what the doctor ordered for the Empire and lead to a great matchup with the Subliners.
