Wilton “zews” Prado has parted ways with the MIBR Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) team. The vacant coaching position has been immediately filled by Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia, who previously occupied the team’s manager position.

Zews’ return to MIBR cut short

Zews returned to MIBR in December of 2018 following a trade deal with Team Liquid that included Epitacio “TACO” de Melo and Jake “Stewie2K” Yip. Upon returning to the fully South American squad, it appeared that MIBR would become a force to be reckoned with once again. This, however, was far from what actually happened. The team failed to put up results that fans were expecting from the Brazilian formation.

On his Twitter account, Zews published a long statement in Portuguese, stating that the team was not even close to achieving the success they wanted during this rebuilding phase for MIBR. Zews also added that he is open to offers as he wishes to continue competing in the competitive CSGO scene in the future in the U.S. due to the coronavirus pandemic.

MIBR published a farewell video on YouTube highlighting the former coach’s plays while he was a stand-in for the team during Marcelo “coldzera” David’s absence. You can check out the clip below.

Dead takes up the coaching role

Immensely experienced 34-year-old Brazilian dead has taken Zews’ place on the MIBR team. This was revealed by Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo on his Twitch stream. Despite being the manager of the team, dead has been involved in coaching in the past.  Examples include coaching during the SK Gaming era as well as the beginnings of MIBR. The Brazilian also had a long career as a player in Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike: Source in the years 2000 to roughly 2011.
