Ahead of maintenance for Konami’s Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel game scheduled for late Wednesday, data miners have found Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel leaks in the files showing off what is coming to the game in the near future, and possibly right after the maintenance window.

A YouTube channel, OzoneTCG, showcased the leaked assets that they gathered using an Asset Studio GUI. In the leak, OzoneTCG showcased all unreleased artwork in the game’s files. In the art assets, there are details of the next solo mode archetypes coming to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. The next archetypes showing up are as follows:

  • Mecha Phantom Beasts
  • The Weather
  • Lightsworn
  • Herald

On top of that, some of the artwork for the solo mode archetype story arcs contain pictures of the card art for some powerful cards that are currently not in the game. OzoneTCG also discovered the powerful Synchro monster, Baronne de Fleur.

When it comes to cosmetics, a user on Reddit by the name of “Kr0Meister”  showed off the same leaks as OzoneTCG. But they also also showcased some new sleeves as well as unused Duel Fields, Unused Field parts, profile frames, profile icons and Mate bases. However, the duel fields are the most interesting as one depicts a Colosseum and the other looks to be a reference to The Grand Spellbook Tower.

In a separate post, a user on Reddit by the name of “Nintendax” found leaks hinting at possibly the first event and tournaments heading to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel after the maintenance. They found new pack art to go along with the previously leaked background logos. These strongly suggest new formats or events. The data mine specified “A special pack that can only be bought with Tickets earned from Tournaments.” The three packs shown are for Xyz, Synchro, and Fusion tournaments, meaning that tournaments might be coming to Master Duel soon.
