Hestu is one of the several returning characters in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Everyone’s favorite Korok has returned to collect your Korok seeds and upgrade your inventory slots so you can carry more weapons, armor, arrows, and other items. However, Hestu is not easy to locate this time around, and players will have to do some searching to find the NPC.

Players might instinctively look in the Korok Forest or at one of the major cities in Hyrule. However, Hestu is in neither of those locations, as he is currently trapped and you have to save him in order to spend your Korok seeds. This personally took me several hours to find him, but luckily, it will only take you a small amount of time.

To find exactly where Hestu is hiding, check out our guide below.

The first step you need to take to locate Hestu is to find Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower, which allows you to cross the Carok Bridge. You need to cross the bridge to reach Hestu’s location, which is found northwest of Lookout Landing at the coordinates: -1700, 1068, 0200.

At these rough coordinates, you will find Hestu bent over and crying along a pathway. Speak to the blubbering Korok to begin the side quest called “Hestu’s Concerns.” This is a fairly simple quest that involves you defeating some Treants, a new type of enemy in Tears of the Kingdom.

Once you defeat the Treants, you can return to Hestu to complete the quest. This, in turn, allows you to trade in your Korok seeds with the NPC. After you complete the quest, Hestu can be found in Lookout Landing. Sometimes he will be near the stable and other times he will be near a storefront. Luckily, Hestu is relatively easy to spot thanks to his stature.

Although, after you gain access to Korok Forest in the Lost Woods, Hestu will permanently move there. You can now spend your Korok seeds any time you want in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
