When you make your way off of Coruscant in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you will arrive at the barren planet of Koboh. It’s here that much of the game will begin to open up, giving you access to mounts, introducing new characters, and allowing you to collect brand new items. Among these new items are seeds, which can be found in decent quantities in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

However, when you first find a seed in Survivor, you will have no idea what to do with it.Cal will comment that you can eventually plant the seed, and players will obviously want to know when that will happen. Here, we explain exactly when you are able to plant seeds in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Fair warning, though, as there are minor spoilers for the Koboh level in the guide below.

How to plant seeds in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

First and foremost, you are able to find seeds on any planet by using your lightsaber on a glowing plant, like the one seen below. If you strike the plant with green glowing lights, then a random seed will be added to your inventory.

Once you have your seeds, you will need to wait until you complete the mission for Zee and go through the Forest Array level on Koboh. Once you come back to greet Greez and Bode, you will get ready to leave the planet. However, before that happens, you will get a notification that says the rooftop garden of the Pyloon Saloon is now open to you.

If you go up to the very top of the saloon, then you will find a single patch of soil you can interact with. Go up to the soil, press the button that says “Garden,” and you will get an overhead view of your garden. Here, you can plant any seed that you have found thus far in Survivor.

Seeds have three different classifications: small, medium, and large. Small seeds only take up one spot, medium seeds take up three, and large seeds take up five. Some of your seeds will also have different colors. It’s up to you to decide how to plant your garden. However, you will need to leave Koboh and then return at a later time to collect the plants that have sprouted from your seeds.

At this point, you can re-plant your seeds and your rooftop garden will grow to include more plots of soil. However, you will need to recruit a Gardener to expand your plots of soil, which comes later in the game.
