Over the past few months, the developers at Infinity Ward have made it a point to revolve the available playlists in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as frequently as possible. This includes removing and then adding back playlists such as Shipment 24/7, Shoothouse 24/7, and any party game mode playlist. However, in a playlist update on March 22, 2023, the developers may have taken it a step too far in MW2, as they removed the popular 10v10 playlist from the rotation.
As soon as Infinity Ward tweeted out the new playlists for the upcoming week and 10v10 was not included, fans were up in arms. The comment section of the tweet and the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit began to fill with remarks regarding this decision. The 10v10 playlist was added last month in MW2 after thousands of players let the developers know they wanted to see it added to multiplayer. Since then, 10v10 has been a staple of the playlist rotation.
Now, fans are simply wondering when it will return in MW2.

As of right now, it does not appear that there is a concrete date for when the 10v10 playlist will return in multiplayer. Infinity Ward rotates the playlists in MW2 every week, so fans will likely have to wait until next week at the earliest to see if 10v10 will get added back to MW2.
However, fans of the playlist shouldn’t hold out too much hope for an early timetable. Playlists such as Shipment 24/7 have been removed and then not added back for a few weeks at a time. There’s simply no telling what playlists the developers will add on a week-to-week basis.
So, unfortunately, fans will have to play the waiting game and test out some of the other playlists in MW2. Hopefully, 10v10 will get added back soon and players can get back to the high-octane action they’ve grown accustomed to in multiplayer because of the playlist.
