The Diablo 4 beta has seen thousands of players enter the world of Sanctuary so far, and it’s only the first weekend. This weekend was just open for pre-order players and those who received a code through various means, like KFC. It’s safe to say that next weekend and the full launch of Diablo 4 will see hundreds of thousands more players make a character and begin their journey to hunt down Lilith. However, strictly speaking in terms of the beta, players are curious about exactly how much content they have access to in the beta. More specifically, players want to know what is the max level they can reach in the Diablo 4 beta.

Diablo 4 beta max character level

During the Diablo 4 beta, the max level that you can reach for every one of your characters is level 25. While this doesn’t sound like much, it will take quite a lot of playtime to climb the levels, especially as you start nearing 25. Once you do hit level 25, you will no longer gain any XP from quests, combat, etc., but you will be able to continue playing as normal.

The only difference is that you won’t be gaining any additional skill points for leveling up. After you reach level 25, you will have to rely on gaining extra skill points through the Renown levels. Some of the Renown levels offer one skill point as a reward, so make sure you’re exploring all of Fractured Peaks and its surrounding areas.

The quickest way to reach level 25 in Diablo 4 is to take on as much content as possible. This means completing the main story quests that you have access to, finishing all of the Dungeons, tackling various side quests, and discovering all of the map that’s available in the beta. If you feel you have successfully maxed a character in the beta, you can make another using a different class. You can have up to 10 classes in the beta, which technically means you can have two characters for all of the available classes (once the Druid and Necromancer open up during the second weekend).
