Chainsaw Man was one of the biggest anime series to release in 2022 and since then it has continued to grow in popularity. Naturally, new fans are going to want to continue this story without waiting for the anime to catch up.

That’s the magic of manga! Typically manga series are released weekly or monthly with fresh chapters keeping the story going until it’s over. Instead of waiting years for more anime, this is the best way to consume Chainsaw Man, but you’re probably wondering, where do I jump in?

Season one of the Chainsaw Man anime ends two pages before Chapter 39. If you’ve watched the show and want to jump into the manga where you left off we suggest starting with Chapter 38 so you don’t miss anything.

If you’re like me and enjoy collecting physical manga, Chapters 38 and 39 are both included in Vol. 5, so you can purchase this book and continue reading on from there.

The next major arc in Chainsaw Man is the Bomb Devil Arc, which has officially been announced as the next anime release for the series, but this time it will be a film. This story runs from Chapters 40 to 52, which is Vol. 5 until the end of Vol. 6.

Of course, you can keep on reading as far through as you like, but just note that Chainsaw Man has two parts with the first ending in Vol. 11, Chapter 97. After this, a new story begins which is currently running and will continue to get new chapters throughout 2024.

Now that you’re armed with this information you’re fully prepared to enjoy the story of Chainsaw Man without waiting for the anime to catch up. We hope you enjoy this incredible tale just as much as we have.
