The Season 4 Reloaded update in Call of Duty: Warzone has stirred up the community and how they perceive the weapon meta. Dozens of weapons were nerfed and buffed in the update, leading to players questioning which guns they should be using. While the Modern Warfare weapons received the bulk of love from Raven Software, there were also some Black Ops Cold War guns to get some stat increases. One of those weapons was the Krig 6 assault rifle, which one Warzone YouTuber believes was enough to make the gun meta.

The YouTuber in question is WhosImmortal, who is one of the foremost loadout/weapon authorities in the Warzone community. He explains that he thought the Krig 6 was already close to being in the meta before the Season 4 Reloaded update. However, after the update buffed the Krig 6, WhosImmortal strongly believes that the Cold War AR is among the best options in Warzone.

Of course, the Krig 6 has to contend with Vanguard weapons, like the NZ-41 and Automaton, in the AR category. It also has to compete with newly buffed guns, like the Kilo 141 and M13 from Modern Warfare; both of which were heavily buffed in Season 4 Reloaded. Despite all of this contention for the meta, WhosImmortal thinks there are few options stronger than the Krig 6; this is thanks to its simplistic handling and devastating damage range.

The Krig 6 had its middle damage increased by a point; on top of that, its headshot locational damage increased by .05 points. While these stat increases might not seem like a big deal, they undoubtedly make a difference if players aim for enemies’ heads. If players want to ensure they’re getting the most out of the Krig 6 when they try it, they can use WhosImmortal’s best loadout.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 15″ CMV Mil-Spec
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Magazine: STANAG 60 Rnd

Most of these attachments increase the Krig 6’s already-strong accuracy and damage range. With them, players will make short work of any player they come across anywhere on the map.
