Amidst all of the news surrounding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that emerged Wednesday, an interesting leak surfaced for Warzone Mobile. Seemingly right after the pre-load for the MW2 multiplayer beta went live, a new page for Warzone Mobile appeared on the Google Play Store. This page shared a plethora of information about the upcoming mobile title. This includes the return of Verdansk, 120-player lobbies and shared progression with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
It would appear this page went live prematurely, as Warzone Mobile isn’t set to release until 2023. Activision hasn’t even shared much information about the game, but we should hear more Thursday at Call of Duty Next. Regardless, this page was up, and players saw lines and lines of descriptions for the game. One of the more intriguing aspects of the page’s details was the fact that the mobile title will have a progression system that’s shared with the main series games.
What this means is that players that hop on Warzone Mobile will still be able to rank up their Activision account that they use in MW2 and Warzone 2. This also presumably means that the new handheld Warzone experience will feature a similar seasonal Battle Pass system to that of MW2 and Warzone 2 as well.
Players will also seemingly be able to use the same loadouts and Operators that they unlock in MW2. The Gunsmith system from MW2 will presumably be the same as well, giving players the freedom to craft their perfect loadout. Leaking account @LeakersonWZM were able to snap a screenshot of the Google Play Store’s description of shared progression.

As of right now, players can visit the Play Store page for Warzone Mobile, but this information is no longer public. There’s also a blurb about pre-registrations for the game, but those aren’t open at the time of writing. We’ll simply have to wait and hear more from Activision tomorrow at Call of Duty Next.
