The assault rifle meta in Call of Duty: Warzone is in a state of flux during Season 4 Reloaded. After a couple of buffs arrived for the Kilo 141 and M13 and the NZ-41 was nerfed, players are a little confused on what AR to run. Luckily, content creators have done some research into the current state of the Warzone ARs, and one creator determined that the Cooper Carbine might be the best option.

The Cooper Carbine was already a top-tier option before the recent reloaded update, thanks to its non-existent recoil and high damage range. However, now with the NZ-41 being dropped down a peg, the Cooper has seemingly become the top option in the AR category.

While some players might prefer the feel of the Modern Warfare ARs, Vanguard weapons tend to be a little stronger simply because they’re the newest and are updated more frequently.

YouTuber and streamer IceManIsaac has pinpointed the Cooper Carbine as the best current Warzone AR for a couple of reasons. For starters, the Cooper Carbine has almost no recoil, making it a perfect replacement for the NZ-41. Some players might think the KG M40 is a stronger choice than the Cooper, but IceManIsaac said the latter has a better time-to-kill than the former.

IceManIsaac also changed up the Cooper’s loadout to make it kill even faster. Fans can see that loadout below.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: 22” Cooper Custom
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Cooper Custom Padded
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Magazine: 9mm 60 Round Drums
  • Ammunition: Compressed Rounds
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk 1: Tight Grip
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

The main change to the loadout involves removing the Lengthened Ammunition for the Compressed Rounds. These rounds add some recoil to the AR but increase its fire rate tremendously. With this new time-to-kill and basically the same recoil control, it’s hard to argue against the Cooper Carbine as the new top dog in the AR class.
