After going to a car dealership, popular VALORANT player Hunter “SicK” Mims is in jail, arrested for criminal trespassing. His bond is $5,000 USD and he could possibly face a fine or even months of jail time.

This whole event began on SicK’s Twitter account, posting a lot of vague tweets. Fans started to get worried when SicK publicly started blocking former friends. These signs had fans worrying about his mental health, something he has fought before.

When SicK took a break from VALORANT in May of 2022, it was revealed that it was due to mental health. That was when Sentinels made some roster changes, with coach Shane “Rawkus” Flaherty filling in for SicK.

Fast-forward to just the end of the LOCK//IN tournament, SicK remains as a sixth man for the Sentinels roster. But in since-deleted tweets from SicK’s Twitter account, he took photos of himself at a Ferrari car dealership, with his ID partly visible. The specific details of what happened have yet to be fully revealed, but some information is clear.

The official charge is criminal trespassing. According to a report from Dot Esports, SicK “refused to leave the dealership after an employee requested him to leave.” That was when SicK was arrested, a former VALORANT champion now in jail.

At the same time, according to Dot Esports, SicK is dealing with personal issues. Lots of friends and family reached out to him before and after this arrest, with former Sentinels teammate Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan tweeting to him.

This post will be updated depending on what happens around SicK next.
