With the eMLS Cup over the American team for the eNations Cup is all ready to go. Philadelphia Union’s Cormac Dooley proved victorious in the hotly contested tournament on Saturday. In doing so he earned $15,000 and 850 EA Sports FIFA 19 Global Series Points. In the final, Dooley otherwise known as “Doolsta,” defeated Giuseppe Guastella (GGGodfather) 2-1 on aggregate over the course of the two-legged series.

Both of the finalists will be the United States’ representatives for the eNations Cup hosted in London from April 13-14. This is the first time the competition has ever taken place. Guastella, who plays for LA Galaxy’s FIFA 19 esports team, was narrowly beaten in the eMLS Cup final and gives the US one of the best chances to be crowned champions in the eNations Cup.

Doolsta, the golden boy of the US team is only an 18-year-old high school senior. Doolsta is also the most consistent player in the country. He has remained perfect in his competitive games and his Saturday night victory in front of a packed crowd at The Castle at Park Plaza in Boston was the latest in his extremely promising career. He previously had won League Series One and Two in Los Angeles and Dallas earlier in the year, meaning he has won all three eMLS competitions in 2019. This experience will put the United States’ team in great stead when they compete in London.

The eMLS Cup consisted of a Western Conference and an Eastern Conference competed on over two days. The Western Conference final showcased the skills of Guastella and Alan Avila (AlanAvi) who currently plays for FC Dallas. Whereas the Eastern final saw Doolsta square up against New York City FC’s Chris Holly, gamertag (NYC_Chris).
