Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was recently booted from a Fortnite match following his reveal of previously secret TwitchCon details. Ninja, the world’s most popular streamer, rose to claim his title due to his remarkable success playing Fortnite. However, it appears even his clout does not prevent him from potential repercussions.

To recap, Fortnite is currently in the midst of its second competitive season, the Fall Skirmish. The Fall Skirmish is a six-week tournament during which $10 million USD worth of prizes will be awarded. This series culminates with a Grand Finale at TwitchCon on October 26 – 28. This is similar to last season’s Summer Skirmish, which ended at PAX West just over a month ago. However, as with last season, each week of the Fall Skirmish is shrouded in mystery. Details about the format and contestants are slowly revealed to the public as the tournament progresses. This is especially true for the Finale.

Thanks to a Twitch stream last night, one piece of the puzzle is now revealed.

Leak: Ninja and Dillon Francis to host Twitch Party at TwitchCon

We previously reported that Ninja will be participating in the Call of Duty Doritos Bowl at TwitchCon. However, it seems that’s not all Ninja will be doing. During a recent stream, co-streamer Dennis “Cloak” Lepore of FaZe Clan prompted Ninja by asking what he would be doing at TwitchCon with musician Dillon Francis. Though coy at first, it didn’t take long for Ninja to let some details slip. Following a short pause, Ninja revealed, “Why not, dude? There’s gonna be a Twitch party, dude. Dillon Francis and Ninja hosting.”

Moments later, both Ninja and Cloak were booted from their Fortnite match. As you can see in the screen above, Ninja looks stunned to see the “We Hit a Roadblock” message. The message doesn’t outright specify why Ninja was booted, instead reading:

You were removed from the match due to internet lag, your IP or machine, VPN usage, or for cheating. We recommend not utilizing VPN or proxy services while attempting to play Fortnite.

Now, it could be the case that this incident is purely coincidental. However, even those involved are suspicious. Take it from Cloak, who immediately responded to Ninja by saying, “That’s what you get for leaking!” Fortunately for both players and their fans, they were able to immediately join another match.

What do you think of this development? Were Ninja and Cloak forcefully booted for their leak? Regardless, the Twitch party is sure to be quite the event. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
