With how much the meta has been changed in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4, some players are undoubtedly confused about what weapons they should be using. The NZ-41 started off Season 4 as the undisputed king of the hill, but other weapons quickly caught up as a result of updates. Then, the Season 4 Reloaded update came and once again shook up the meta in more ways than one. Now, a few weeks before Season 5 is set to begin, primary loadouts are being shaken up again, and the top five guns to use in Warzone are in flux.

This list consists of the consensus top five guns in Warzone Season 4, but there are certainly other options for players in this ever-shifting meta. For example, a gun like the XM4 or Nikita AVT won’t appear here, but both weapons can easily compete with any other gun on this list. This top five is meant to showcase which weapons are currently dominating the pick rate and kill/death ratio charts in Season 4.

Below are the top five weapons in Warzone Season 4 along with their recommended loadouts. With Season 5 quickly approaching, this list is sure to change once again, so players should take advantage of these guns while they can.

5. UGM-8 – LMG

The UGM-8 is quickly becoming one of the best long-range options in Warzone, and players who haven’t used this LMG before should absolutely try it out. The UGM has a couple of meta loadouts, one fully-auto and one burst-fire, that can annihilate enemies in Season 4.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer

  • Perk 2: On-Hand

4. NZ-41 – AR

For now, the NZ-41 remains on this list. However, it has been nerfed a few times in Season 4, and one more nerf would almost certainly see the NZ-41 lose all of its popularity in Warzone. As of Season 4 Reloaded, though, the Vanguard AR can still pack a punch.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Orbweaver 360mm BC
  • Optic: G16 2.5x

3. H4 Blixen – SMG

While not quite at the top of the SMG meta, the H4 Blixen is a powerful weapon that can serve as either a primary or secondary weapon in Warzone Season 4. The Blixen was originally the top SMG in Season 4, but a recent nerf has knocked it down a peg.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Bergstrom 17″ F3
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Removed Stock

2. Armaguerra 43 – SMG

Speaking of the SMG meta, the Armaguerra 43 overtook the H4 Blixen as a result of the many updates in Season 4. The Armaguerra 43 has a few different loadout options in Warzone, all of them strong and more than capable to take down any enemy at close-medium range.

1. KG M40 – AR

The KG M40 is at the top of the AR class and every other weapon class in Warzone Season 4. Recent nerfs to guns like the NZ-41 have vaulted the KG M40 forward. The Vanguard AR already had superior recoil control, but now it also has a competitive damage range. This allowed it to overtake the NZ-41 as the best weapon in Warzone.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Reisdorf 720mm Shrouded
