After the World Series of Warzone ended earlier this week, the competitive season for the map of Caldera concluded as well. While players can, of course, still play Caldera in public matches, most competitive players will be turning their attention to Fortune’s Keep. There’s a new CDL Resurgence tournament on that map later this month, and anyone can compete in it. As such, players might be looking for a mobile weapon that can also deal quick damage at close and long range. If you’re searching for a gun like that, look no further than the Volk and its best loadout in Warzone.

During the early seasons of Warzone this year, the Volk was actually considered one of the better assault rifles. However, after new weapons entered the game and got buffs, the Volk fell behind other guns and has largely gone unused in Season 5. We’re here to tell you that the Volk is still worth using, though, especially with its best set of attachments equipped.

To see the full loadout for the Volk in Warzone Season 5, keep reading below.

Best Volk loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Krausnick 428mm 05V
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Reisdorf 22V Adjustable
  • Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 45 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk 1: Perfectionist
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

The main goal for this Volk loadout is to increase mobility and recoil control. Mobility is boosted by the Reisdorf 22V Adjustable stock and the M1930 Strife Angled underbarrel. By improving mobility, the Volk can further compete with submachine guns at close range. The optic choice also reflects the style of gameplay players should use with the Volk, as the Slate Reflector is meant for close to medium-range gunfights.

The rest of the attachments on the loadout are mainly in use to boost recoil control. However, the Recoil Booster is in place to improve fire rate, which gives the Volk a better time-to-kill if players can hit their shots.
