The number of assault rifles to choose from in Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone can be a little daunting, even for veterans of the game. After the NZ-41’s nerf, some players have wanted to try new ARs to see if they’re missing out any potential meta guns. While the NZ-41 is still strong in Season 4, there are several other options players can use. The Volk from Vanguard is one option that tends to get overlooked in Warzone, but its loadout is one of the fastest-killing in the AR class.

The Volk was a popular rifle in Season 2 and Season 3 of Warzone thanks to players seeing it used in Vanguard multiplayer. However, other rifles began to pop up, and the Volk was moved out of the meta. With the release of the Fortune’s Keep map in Season 4, though, the Volk might have a new place in the meta thanks to its fire rate and time-to-kill. A smaller map means players need a weapon that can deal damage in a short amount of time, and the Volk certainly fits that bill.

To see the full loadout for the Volk in Warzone Season 4, keep reading below.

Best Volk loadout in Warzone

The Volk’s loadout hasn’t changed much from previous seasons, but that’s simply because the attachments in place offer the most benefits. Mobility, fire rate and recoil control are the three main stats increased with the loadout, which only help with making the Volk a stronger close-range threat.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Hockenson 142mm Rapid
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 8mm Kurz 60 Round Drum
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Perk 1: Acrobatic
  • Perk 2: Quick

Fire rate is increased with the muzzle and barrel attachments while mobility and recoil control attachments take up most of the other slots. While this Volk loadout is particularly useful on Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island, it’s also serviceable on Caldera. Although, other ARs are definitely still a better option.
