The Victus XMR was the new sniper rifle in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 that arrived via the Season 1 Battle Pass. Now in Season 2, players can unlock the Victus via an in-game challenge or through a store bundle if they didn’t get it through the Battle Pass. Regardless of how players unlock the Victus, they should spend some time leveling it up in Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2. Once players have the Victus XMR leveled up, they can take full advantage of its best loadout in Warzone 2.

The Victus has the highest damage output and one of the best range stats of all the snipers in-game. Simply put, the Victus XMR is a monster at long range, making it a fantastic fit for the large Al Mazrah map and its long sight lines. However, for players to be able to make the Victus viable against other meta snipers, like the SP-X 80, they will need to use the sniper’s best set of attachments.

Best Victus XMR loadout in Warzone 2

This particular Victus XMR loadout comes from FaZe Testy, a prominent content creator in the community who specializes in sniping. The loadout makes use of the Victus’ damage profile and equips it with a long-range scope.

  • Barrel: Mack 8 33.5″ Super
  • Laser:  VLK LZR 7mW
  • Optic: SP-X 80 6.6x
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal Explosive Rounds
  • Stock: XKR Rise 50

These attachments are centered around the .50 Cal Explosive Rounds, which increases the Victus’ damage and gives each bullet an explosive finish. The combination of the Mack 8 33.5″ Super barrel for extra range and the VLK LZR 7mW laser make the Victus slightly more mobile. All of that is topped off with the SP-X 80 6.6x scope, which is perfect for mid to long-range engagements.
