The Victus XMR was a new sniper rifle in Call of Duty: Warzone that arrived via the Season 1 Battle Pass. When the sniper arrived in the game, it featured the best overall damage range for a sniper in Warzone, making it quite the popular pick for long range players. However, fast forward to Season 5, and the Victus XMR is hardly picked anymore. Still, if you’re yearning for something new in Warzone, you should definitely check out my best loadout for the Victus XMR.

Perhaps the main reason for the Victus seeing its pick rate plummet was the addition of Resurgence maps. These are far more popular than Al Mazrah and feature much more compact action, which is something the Victus doesn’t tend to excel at. Naturally, I recommend you stick to Al Mazrah with the Victus, but you can also equip more mobility attachments on its loadout to keep up with the more aggressive style of Resurgence.

My loadout will stick with what the Victus XMR is strongest at, though, which is long range sniping.

Best Victus XMR loadout in Warzone

This particular Victus XMR loadout makes use of the Victus’ high damage profile and equips it with a long-range scope. There are some mobility attachments so players can lock onto enemies a little quicker when fighting at mid-range.

  • Barrel: Mack 8 33.5″ Super
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mW
  • Optic: SP-X 80 6.6x
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal Explosive Rounds
  • Stock: XKR Rise 50

These attachments are centered around the .50 Cal Explosive Rounds, which increases the Victus’ damage and gives each bullet an explosive finish. The combination of the Mack 8 33.5″ Super barrel for extra range and the VLK LZR 7mW laser make the Victus slightly more mobile, but you will have a laser showing at all times.

All of that is topped off with the SP-X 80 6.6x scope, which is perfect for mid to long-range engagements.
