There were only a select few weapons that received a buff in the recent Season 5 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Warzone. The developers decided not to change the meta too drastically with the weapon balancing, but the buffed weapons do give players more options in terms of selecting a loadout. One weapon that more and more players have been looking to use recently is the VEL 46 submachine gun. The VEL 46 was slightly buffed in Season 5 Reloaded, and as a result, players are curious to see its best loadout in Warzone.

Prior to Season 5, the VEL 46 didn’t receive much attention from the player base. While there were times the classic SMG was used in some meta loadouts, it was primarily seen as a mid-tier submachine gun. However, after its buff in Season 5 Reloaded, players are interested in trying it out to see if the changes make it strong enough to warrant a loadout spot. For players looking to use the VEL 46 in Season 5, they’ll want to ensure they have its best attachments equipped.

To see the full loadout for the VEL 46 in Warzone, keep reading below.

Best VEL 46 loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: Lockshot KT85
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mW
  • Stock: Demo RXT Stock
  • Magazine: 50 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: Schlager Soldier Grip

This loadout gives the VEL 46 massive increases in accuracy, recoil control, mobility, and magazine size. Its damage range stays the same with this loadout, but as long as players are keeping gunfights at a manageable range, they shouldn’t notice that too much.

The first attachments on the loadout are the Lockshot KT85 muzzle and the VLK LZR 7mW laser. The muzzle increases overall accuracy but reduces mobility, while the laser gets that mobility right back to where it was and then some. Following those attachments, I have the Demo RXT Stock and the Schlager Solider Grip, both of which should give players an advantage when fighting in close range.

Wrapping up the loadout is the 50 Round Mag, which hinders mobility but it’s worth it to ensure you don’t have to reload nearly as often in Warzone.
