With this current version of Call of Duty: Warzone winding down, some players have taken to using off-meta weapons in Season 5. For example, the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle has been gaining more and more traction every day even though the 3-Line Rifle is considered the best sniper in Warzone. For the submachine gun category, there are a plethora of non-meta options that players can use. One of the best options is the Type 100, which actually has a meta loadout in Warzone. However, due to the popularity of other SMGs in Warzone, the Type 100 has descended down the pick rate charts.

At one point, the Type 100 was considered a meta weapon. Through a series of nerfs and buffs to other SMGs, though, the gun fell out of favor with a majority of the community. Still, despite only featuring a 0.7% pick rate, according to WZRanked, the Type 100 is a solid choice in Season 5 of Warzone. This is mainly due to its recommended loadout, which features attachments that boost its overall time-to-kill.

To see the full loadout for the Type 100 in Warzone Season 5, keep reading below.

Best Type 100 loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Warubachi 134mm Rapid
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Warubachi Grip Folding
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 30 Russian Short 36 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Taped Grip
  • Perk 1: Acrobatic
  • Perk 2: Quick

This loadout does a little bit of everything for the Type 100. It starts off by increasing fire rate with the Recoil Booster and Warubachi 134mm Rapid barrel. This enables the Type 100 to have one of the best TTKs out of any Vanguard SMG, which is extremely important for close-range gunfights. Also helping out those close-range battles are extra mobility attachments, like the Warubachi Grip Folding stock, Taped Grip, and Acrobatic/Quick perks.

Going down the loadout, the M1941 Hand Stop helps lower the Type 100’s recoil while the .30 Russian Short 36 Round Mags give the Type 100 even more overall damage. Finally, the Subsonic ammunition allows players to remain off the mini-map when firing, which is important since the loadout does not use a suppressor.
