There are some weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 that you simply don’t see often. Usually, it’s because these weapons don’t currently stack up against other guns in the meta. This can either be because they’re simply not as strong or they’re so incredibly weak that there’s really no point in using the weapon. The TAQ-M marksman rifle falls more into the latter category, as there are dozens of weapons players could equip over it. However, if players are determined to use the TAQ-M in Warzone 2, they will need the absolute best loadout for it.

Currently, the TAQ-M has a pick rate of just 0.35%, according to WZRanked. That is in the bottom ten of every gun in Warzone 2, so it’s safe to say that players have veered away from the marksman rifle thus far. This is for good reason as well, as the TAQ-M really has no qualities to make it a viable gun in any situation on Al Mazrah.

As we mentioned before, though, if players really want to use the gun, we recommend throwing on a specific set of attachments.

Best TAQ-M loadout in Warzone 2

The TAQ-M can become a decent weapon in Warzone 2 if players keep their gunfights at a distance and hit their headshots. As such, our loadout will be best served at long-range.

  • Barrel: LR1:7 20.5” Barrel
  • Optic: SZ Lonewolf Optic
  • Stock: TV Ballast Stock
  • Magazine: 15 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip

The loadout starts out with the LR1:7 20.5″ Barrel, which improves damage range, recoil control, and bullet velocity. The SZ Lonewolf Optic further improves the TAQ-M’s capability at long range. The rest of the loadout is focused on mobility so players can bring their gun up faster. This will help combat the faster assault rifles that many players are using in Warzone 2.
