There are few weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 that have as much raw power as the TAQ-56. Basically the Scar-L from previous games, the TAQ-56 is among the scariest weapons to go up against in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Not only does it have extremely little recoil and a decently fast fire rate, but it has one of the best damage profiles of any assault rifle in the game. These stats have made the TAQ-56 a popular loadout choice on the first day of Warzone 2.

While the current meta is leaning towards faster weapons and snipers, the TAQ-56 absolutely shouldn’t be overlooked. It might not be as mobile as other assault rifles, but what it doesn’t have in mobility, it makes up for it with damage and range. Players with good accuracy can be lethal with the TAQ-56 in their hands, especially at longer ranges where less accurate ARs will struggle to hit players. However, if players want to take the TAQ-56 to a new level, they’ll need to use its best set of attachments.

Best TAQ-56 loadout in Warzone 2

Since the TAQ-56 will never be as mobile as other ARs, we’ve decided to take a more tactical approach with its loadout. This means adding attachments that boost accuracy and damage while reducing overall mobility.

  • Muzzle: XTEN Havoc 90
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
  • Optic: Schlager 3.4x
  • Stock: Tactical Brute Stock
  • Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip

A majority of these attachments are in place to ensure that players will barely have to touch their aim when firing with the TAQ-56. However, if players want a more mobile TAQ-56 with these same attachments, they can go into the Weapon Tuning section for the attachments and increase the overall aim down sights speed. This will make the TAQ-56 less accurate, but give it a fighting chance against faster ARs in Warzone 2.
