A majority of classes in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 follow a similar trend. Players will equip a primary long-range weapon in the first gun slot and then select the Overkill perk. This allows them to equip a secondary primary weapon, which is usually an SMG or shotgun for close-range gunfights. However, there are instances where players can’t afford to equip an Overkill loadout. Instead, sometimes players will need to use a class with the Ghost perk, which forces players to use an actual secondary weapon. In this case, players will need a powerful secondary that can act as an SMG; there are few better options to fill this role in Warzone than the Sykov and its strongest loadout.

The Sykov was a post-launch weapon in Modern Warfare that immediately made waves. At one point, the Sykov was the strongest weapon in Warzone, acting more like an SMG than a pistol. However, after some nerfs, the Sykov reverted to being an actual machine pistol instead of a pocket SMG. Now, the Sykov is among the best secondary weapons in Warzone, featuring a loadout that might make players forget they’re using a pistol.

To see the full loadout for the Sykov in Warzone Season 5, keep reading below.

Best Sykov loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Sorokin 140mm Auto
  • Laser: 5mW Laser
  • Ammunition: 80 Round Drum Mag
  • Rear Grip: Akimbo

The Sorokin 140mm Auto barrel is what makes the loadout tick. It turns the Sykov fully auto and pairs well with the other attachments on the loadout. However, the pistol also has the 80 Round Drum Mag and Akimbo equipped. This is the original loadout that made the Sykov so powerful in Warzone. While these two attachments have been nerfed, they still help the Sykov to kill extremely quickly and allow players to take on multiple enemies in close-range. Akimbo gives players two pistols, one in each hand, so they will lose the ability to aim down sights. However, with the 5mW Laser, players will have terrific hip-fire, which negates the need to ADS.
