If you have been thinking of hopping into the CDL Moshpit playlist in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, you will need to create some competitive-focused loadouts. For assault rifle players who don’t want to use the TAQ-56, I recommend the STB 556, which has a fantastic CDL Moshpit loadout.

The professional players actually banned the STB 556 amongst themselves, which is why you won’t see the AR used in official CDL matches from this previous season in 2023. This is primarily of because how strong the STB is across the board, especially at close range. However, CDL Moshpit has not restricted the STB, so players are free to use it as much as they wish. For players that want to try out the STB, they need the AR’s best set of attachments to make it worth it over the M4.

Best STB 556 loadout for CDL Moshpit

The competitive loadout for the STB 556 increases all of the STB 556’s most pertinent stats, which makes it much more viable to compete with the TAQ-56 in competitive game modes. Luckily, with the STB already having high mobility, you can use attachments that improve other stats to truly make the assault rifle a jack-of-all-trades.

  • Barrel: 18″ Bruen Guerilla
  • Optic: Slimline Pro
  • Rear Grip: STIP-40 Grip
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
  • Underbarrel: FFS Sharkfin 90

The loadout is primarily focused on increasing the STB’s recoil control and damage range while sacrificing mobility. Although, the STB already has the best mobility out of any AR, so you aren’t losing much in the way of mobility by using this set of attachments.

I have also included an optic, which is completely optional if you prefer the iron sights of the STB-556. If you want to take the optic off, you can instead run a muzzle that focuses on recoil control
