Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 5 is now live for all players. This will be the last seasonal content update for Vanguard and Warzone. The current Battle Pass timer for Season 5 ends on Nov. 16, which is when Warzone 2 will launch. Of course, Modern Warfare 2 will launch on Oct. 28, giving fans an entirely new multiplayer experience to play. Before that happens, though, fans have access to a variety of new content in Vanguard, including two new weapons. One of those weapons is the RA 225 submachine gun, which has a lethal close-range loadout in Vanguard.
The RA 225 is a unique weapon in that it’s extremely small and compact. Activision describes the RA 225 as “a high fire rate and a very mobile compact frame.” As a trade-off for this high fire rate, the RA 225 doesn’t have the best damage or recoil control. However, with some tweaks to the RA 225’s loadout in Vanguard, those stats can be increased. While this won’t make the RA 225 the strongest SMG in multiplayer, it does put it in contention for the best close-range option.

Best RA 225 loadout in Vanguard
Multiple stats will be boosted with the RA 255’s loadout. The chief stat that fans will see increased is recoil control, though, as the RA 225 has fairly poor accuracy in its base form.

With this loadout, fans will see an increase in damage range with the Vital proficiency as well as Moravec 18″ Needle barrel. The RA 225’s already strong fire rate is also improved with the Recoil Booster. Above all else, though, recoil control is increased through multiple attachments. This loadout makes the RA 225 much more viable in Vanguard Season 5. However, all of the attachments will take some time to unlock, so players need to start ranking up their Battle Pass.
