The submachine gun class in Call of Duty: Warzone has some true contenders for the overall weapon meta. The ISO 9mm is arguably the best close-range weapon in the game thanks to its high rate of fire while the Lachmann Sub is a reliable weapon at any range under 30 meters. The best part about the SMGs in Warzone, though, is that most, if not all of them are usable in one way or another. The PDSW 528, while not the strongest SMG in Warzone, is a great gun for close-range gunfights, especially if players are using its best loadout.

The PDSW 528 is really only viable in close-range, but as long as players equip a strong assault rifle or light machine gun in their other gun slot, that issue becomes moot. Players can simply whip out the PDSW 528 when they’re going to push an enemy up close or if they’re the ones being pushed. In order to get the most out of the PDSW 528, though, players need to ensure they are using its strongest set of attachments.

Best PDSW 528 loadout in Warzone

The PDSW has received some buffs over the course of Warzone, making it a much more viable SMG. Now, players can take on more gunfights at mid-range and have an increased chance of success. However, we still recommend using the PDSW in close-range, especially with this loadout.

  • Barrel: FTAC Defense 14.5″
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mW
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Stock: CQB Stock
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip

The name of the game with this loadout is mobility. Players see a huge improvement in both their aim down sights and sprint-to-fire times using this set of attachments, which are the most important stats when rushing with an SMG.

However, players also get a slight boost to their damage range, accuracy, and bullet velocity by using the FTAC Defense 14.5″ barrel. The Cronen Mini Pro optic wraps up the loadout as one of the better close-range sights you can use.
