Since it was introduced in Call of Duty: Warzone, the OTs 9 has been firmly in the meta as one of the top submachine guns available. Few guns in the class can match its mix of damage range, mobility and accuracy. While it’s been knocked down a peg or two in the past season, the OTs 9 and its recommended loadout are still as reliable as ever in Warzone.
While there aren’t many guns that can outclass the OTs 9, some fans have stuck to using off-meta weapons in Season 6. Guns like the AK74u and Fennec have risen up, thanks to their usage statistics in previous seasons. To make matters worse for the OTs 9, the likes of the Cold War MP5 and LAPA have joined it in the meta and they even have higher usage stats than it currently. However, fans shouldn’t underestimate the OTs 9’s loadout if they’re looking for a weapon to go for high-kill games with in Warzone.
Best OTs 9 loadout in Warzone
The OTs 9 is one of the best close-range options in Warzone. It has a high fire rate and damage output mixed with solid mobility. If there were one negative trait about the OTs 9, though, it would be its low magazine size. Unlike other SMGs in Warzone, the OTs can’t be upgraded with a huge magazine without affecting other stats. This is somewhat corrected in its best loadout, however.
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 8.1″ Task Force
- Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
- Ammunition: Spetsnaz 40 Rnd
The Spetsnaz 40 Rnd is the choice for the magazine to give the OTs 9 some extra breathing room in gunfights. Though, players should be weary about using it against an entire enemy squad.
The rest of the loadout is standard for an SMG, with the GRU Suppressor and 8.1″ Task Force barrel boosting damage range, bullet velocity and recoil control. The Spetsnaz Grip also helps out with controlling recoil. Finally, the Serpent Wrap improves the OTs 9’s mobility greatly by increasing ADS speed. This loadout is a beast in close-range gunfights and will excel in those tight situations in Warzone.
