When Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific first launched, many players immediately went to create a loadout for their Vanguard guns. Among the first weapons that players looked at was the MP40, with it dominating lobbies on day one in Caldera. There’s good reasoning behind that, as it’s a strong option in the SMG category. The MP40 also features a top loadout that can shred enemies at any range in Warzone Pacific.

While assault rifles still reign supreme in Warzone Pacific, having a strong secondary SMG as a backup weapon is almost required. It allows players to have some flexibility in the gunfights they take instead of only having a secondary pistol. With the MP40’s recommended loadout, though, players will have more than just a backup option in Warzone Pacific.

Best MP40 loadout in Warzone Pacific

Ideally, players want their MP40 to excel more so in close range than long. If they’re running it as an Overkill secondary with an assault rifle as the primary, there’s not a ton of need for it to be built for longer-range gunfights. This is reflected in the gun’s best loadout. However, medium-range engagements are still feasible thanks to the MP40’s strong base stats.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: VDD 189MM Short
  • Optic: Krausnick ISO 1M
  • Stock: Krausnick 33M Folding
  • Underbarrel: SMLE Pistol Grip
  • Magazine: 9MM 64 Round Drum
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Perk: Brace
  • Perk 2: Quick

The main attributes of this loadout lie with the mobility stat. The Krausnick 33M Folding stock, SMLE Pistol Grip and Fabric Grip all increase either ADS or sprint-to-fire speeds. Also, the Quick perk allows players to move faster on the map.

For attachments outside of mobility, the Recoil Booster and Lengthened attachments give the MP40 higher fire rate and bullet velocity, respectively. Finally, the VDD 189MM Short barrel and Brace perk offer some additional recoil control for any gunfight outside of 10 meters. Players can also choose the optic they want but the Krausnick ISO 1M offers a clear view for close-medium range gunfights.
