The first portion of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer beta has seen players use only a few weapons, mostly from the M4 Platform. However, thanks to a bug that’s now been patched, some PlayStation players have been able to access the Lachmann Platform. This platform contains weapons such as the Lachmann 556 assault rifle and the Lachmann Sub submachine gun. As with any other platform, players will need to use the Lachmann 556 to unlock the Lachmann Sub. However, once they do, players can begin leveling the Lachmann Sub to unlock its best loadout in Modern Warfare 2.

In order to unlock the Lachmann Sub in MW2, players need to first unlock the Lachmann 556. In the Gunsmith, this can be done by ranking up the Lachmann 762 until players unlock the Lachmann 556 Receiver. Then, with the 556 Receiver equipped, players need to rank that weapon up until they unlock the Lachmann Sub Receiver. Players can then equip that, and they’ll have the SMG.

As players will immediately notice, the Lachmann Sub is simply the MP5 from previous games. As such, it’s expected to have a powerful loadout given how strong its predecessor was in MW2019.

To see the full loadout for the Lachmann Sub in Modern Warfare 2, keep reading below.

Best Lachmann Sub loadout in Modern Warfare 2

  • Muzzle: XTEN Razor Comp
  • Barrel: L38 Falcon 226mm Barrel
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision 40
  • Ammunition: 9mm Hollow Point
  • Receiver: Lachmann Sub

This loadout for the Lachmann Sub primarily focuses on mobility, damage, and recoil control. The L38 Falcon 226mm Barrel and 9mm Hollow Point ammunition provide the Lachmann Sub with added damage while the No Stock gives players some much-needed mobility. Finally, the XTEN Razor Comp muzzle and the Lockgrip Precision 40 underbarrel allow players to stay on target more effectively.

A majority of these attachments will likely change when the full release of Modern Warfare 2 arrives in October. For now, though, they’re the best of the best for the Lachmann Sub.
