When it comes to sniping in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play, players have generally gone with one of two snipers, the SP-X 80 or the MCPR 300. Both of these snipers are the ones used most by professionals in the Call of Duty League, which has translated to Ranked. However, there is also another sniper that did see some use in the CDL, and Ranked players should be aware of it. The LA-B 330 is a tremendously quick sniper with a propensity for hitmarkers, but with the right loadout, Ranked players can see some major success with it.

The main reason why some pros brought out the LA-B 330 in CDL matches is purely due to its speed. There is no other sniper with mobility like the LA-B, as it can aim down sights quicker than any other weapon in its class. Of course, this comes with a dropoff in damage, which players will want to rectify unless they only plan on hitting headshots in Ranked.

To see the full loadout for the LA-B 330 in Ranked Play, keep reading below.

Best LA-B 330 loadout for MW2 Ranked Play

  • Barrel: 18.5″ Bryson LR Factory
  • Stock: ZLR T70 Pad Extension
  • Comb: Aim-Assist 406
  • Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt

The loadout begins with the 18.5″ Bryson LR Factory barrel, which is the one attachment that boosts damage range. While it’s not a huge difference, this could save players from getting a hitmarker compared to a one-shot kill. Moving on, there are only mobility attachments equipped from here on out. The ZLR T70 Pad Extension and Aim-Assist 406 both improve aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time. As for the FSS ST87 Bolt, that’s focused on increasing rechambering speed, which will let players shoot another bullet faster after just shooting one.

If speed is what players are after in a sniper for Ranked Play, then this LA-B 330 is next to none.
