The LA-B 330 is certainly not the most popular sniper in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s Ranked Play. The MCPR 300, SP-X 80, and even Signal 50 are all seen more in Ranked Play lobbies. This is primarily due to the fact that they all possess higher damage profiles than the LA-B 330. However, the LA-B 330 sports ultra-quick mobility that can make quickscoping a breeze. If you want to make sure you’re not seeing only hitmarkers in Ranked Play, though, you want to ensure you’re using the right loadout for the LA-B 330.

The only way I see the LA-B 330 being viable in Ranked Play is if players can consistently hit upper body shots while using it. If you can do that and have decent quickscoping ability, then you should be able to make the LA-B 330 a viable option in Search and Destroy. I don’t recommend pulling out a sniper for Hardpoint or Control unless you want some angry teammates.

To see the full loadout for the LA-B 330 in Ranked Play, keep reading below.

Best LA-B 330 loadout for MW2 Ranked Play

  • Barrel: 18.5″ Bryson LR Factory
  • Stock: ZLR T70 Pad Extension
  • Comb: Aim-Assist 406
  • Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt

The loadout begins with the 18.5″ Bryson LR Factory barrel, which is the one attachment that boosts damage range. While it’s not a huge difference, this could save players from getting a hitmarker compared to a one-shot kill.

Moving on, there are only mobility attachments equipped from here on out. The ZLR T70 Pad Extension and Aim-Assist 406 both improve aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time. As for the FSS ST87 Bolt, that’s focused on increasing rechambering speed, which will let players shoot another bullet faster after just shooting one.

If speed is what players are after in a sniper for Ranked Play, then this LA-B 330 is next to none.
