The HCR 56 has not received much attention whatsoever over the course of its life cycle in Call of Duty: Warzone. There have always seemingly been other weapons that are simply more attractive to use. Starting out, the RPK dominated the meta but then after a nerf to the LMG, players swapped over to using regular assault rifles. This left the HCR 56 LMG in the dust and at the bottom of the pick rates. However, this doesn’t mean the HCR 56 can’t be a strong weapon in Warzone, as evident by its top loadout.

While the HCR 56 won’t be winning any competitions as the best gun in Warzone, it’s a serviceable LMG that can compete with any other long range weapon in the game. Of course, in order to truly take on the likes of the Kastov 762, M13B, and the Cronen Squall, among others, you want to ensure you’re using the absolute best attachments for the HCR 56.

To see the best loadout for the HCR 56 in Warzone, keep reading the guide below.

Best HCR 56 loadout in Warzone

The HCR 56’s loadout will primarily focus on improving recoil control, stability, and bullet velocity. Its damage range is already strong, and players will benefit more from increasing other stats.

  • Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
  • Rear Grip: STIP-40 Grip

The loadout begins with the Sakin Tread-40 muzzle and the Commando Foregrip. Both of these attachments offer a large boost to recoil control and stability. The STIP-40 Grip also increases overall recoil control as well. Wrapping up the loadout is the 5.56 High Velocity ammunition, which improves bullet velocity. Finally, there’s the Aim OP-V4 optic, the current meta pick for mid-long range gunfights.

This loadout for the HCR 56 is strong if you use it correctly, so try it out before the new iteration of Warzone arrives later this year.
